Join the exciting world of the Barbering Industry! The AZ Barber Academy offers a high standard of learning to future professionals looking for a well-rounded experience. The Academy offers you a 1,200-hour, full or part-time Barber education program, a 200-hour Cosmetologist to Barber crossover program, a 350-hour Barber Instructor program, continuing educational classes for barbers and cosmetologists and a 250-hour online, hybrid or in-person program for an Apprenticeship with all the support to start and complete your training as well as prepare you for the Arizona state licensing exam. Career-Prep Programs For Today's Barbering Industry
Programs Offered
Barber Training Program: We accept both full-time and part-time students. 1200 hours are required for a barbering license. Full-time students are given 9 months to complete and need to attend 40 hours a week. Day classes run from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Part-time schedules are flexible with 20 hours a week minimum required. Tuition and Cost Breakdown: 1,200 Hours $14,000 + one of the following options:
Tool Kit 1 / Theory Lab seat $922* Basic Package
All Tools required with basic cordless** clippers to pass the State Board Exam.
Tool Kit 2 / Theory Lab seat $1,014* Silver Package. All Tools required with upgraded clippers to pass the State Board Exam.
Tool Kit 3 / Theory Lab seat $1,139* Platinum Package
All Tools required with a choice of clippers to pass the State Board Exam. Deposit of $100 to secure registration (is taken off the total )
Cosmetologist to Barber Crossover: This program is designed for students who currently hold an Arizona Cosmetologist license and wish to add a Barbering license to their credentials. The Crossover Program consists of 200 clocked hours of practical operations and technical instruction that will cover the art and science of Barbering from techniques in hair, skincare, and shaving, to business skills and health and safety practices. This course of study satisfies the requirements of Arizona Revised Statutes 32-325.s. Tuition and Cost Breakdown: 200 Hours $2,400 + one of the following options:
Tool Kit 1 / Theory Lab seat $540* Basic Package. All Tools required to pass the State Board Exam with basic cordless** clippers.
Tool Kit 2 / Theory Lab seat $640* Silver Package. All Tools required with upgraded clippers to pass the State Board Exam.
Tool Kit 3 / Theory Lab seat $740* Platinum Package. All Tools required with a choice of clippers to pass the State Board Exam.
Deposit of $100 to secure registration (is taken off the total)
The Apprenticeship Program offers 250 hours of online, hybrid or in-person theory for Barber Journeymen wanting to work in a barbershop to get hands-on experience. Students will have access to online educational material for 24 months. One time total tuition cost: $1,500
Barber Instructor: This program offers student Instructors the required 350 clocked hours, to gain an education as an Instructor. Student Instructors will have no less than 80 hours of Theory classroom instruction prior to working on the school clinic floor under the supervision of a licensed instructor. Tuition Total inclusive: $4,200* plus $50 for the Mindful Teaching Activity Field Book

Learning material for all programs is provided by online Pivot Point and or Milady's Standard Barbering, 6th Edition, #ISBN-13: 978-1305100558. All instruction is provided by licensed Barber Instructors in the State of Arizona.

Hillary was born into a Military family in the States and raised in England."The beauty and fashion industry has been my life for over four decades, with over twenty-five years of educating, mentoring and teaching large classes of multicultural adults and teenagers of all ages".
Her services have been requested by the American Military and English celebrities. Hillary has worked on stage and movie sets crossing paths with people such as Al Pacino and Shirley Bassey.
She is passionate about inspiring and being inspired and sharing her knowledge to help people take their first steps to a successful chosen career.
